Hi Students & Families,
After this one, there are only two weeks left in the quarter! Time flies when you’re having fun. 4th Grade: We’ll be reading a nonfiction book of the students’ choice and work on finding the main idea throughout. In math we will add on to our knowledge of factors by learning about multiples. KJ is adding another letter to his repertoire this week meaning we’ll be able to make words! 5th Grade: Students will wrap up their fictional narratives this week and share them with their classmates. Maybe we’ll put them up here too! We are wrapping up a nonfiction book about emergencies in reading. In math, students have a field trip project they’ll be working on until the end of the quarter. 6th Grade: Students are finishing the Many Cultures selection in reading including responding to a series of questions about all three pieces. In math, ET is working on using integers with all four operations. SK is going to begin adding fractions. 7th Grade: MD is going to focus on answering comprehension questions this week.
