This is my third year at Ray. I have also taught in Chicago’s Roseland and Bronzeville neighborhoods. My hometown is Sacramento, California and I graduated from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo in 2010 with teaching degrees in special education as well as elementary education. I relocated to Chicago with my husband in 2013 after serving in the Peace Corps. As a volunteer, my primary objective was to teach English courses to university students in China. My husband and I have two daughters ages three and five. In my free time I enjoy exploring the city with my family, cooking, and any sort of crafty project.
