Hi Students & Families,
This is an odd week of school. We only have school on Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday! Report card pickup is tomorrow! Please stop by room 106 so we can discuss how and what your child is doing. All students will extend what we started working on last week to ensure deeper understanding. 4th Grade: In math we will continue working with patterns in reading and answering questions using RAP (restate the question, answer the question, prove you're right). KJ is adding the letter M to his arsenal. 5th Grade: We will be adding fractions with unlike denominators by finding the LCM (least common multiple) to make common denominators. In reading we are also using RAP with age/grade appropriate texts. 6th Grade: Students are continuing to read Crossover and respond to questions about the text. SK is reading an article about the new Wreck It Ralph movie. 7th Grade: MD is working on responding to literal comprehension questions and writing a complete sentence with an appropriate verb phrase.
